Our Location

We are located one block west of Guelph Park in Mount Pleasant. We are located accross the street from the 1 Kingsway Site! For those of you who are not familiar with our neighbourhood, the 1 Kingsway site is the home of our new community centre! Please view thier site at 1 Kingsway

We are also located within walking distance of the Mount Pleasant Library (it's accross the street) and within easy walking distance of both the Current Mount Pleasant Community Centre and the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House. The Riley Park Community Centre and Ice Rink and the Percy Norman Pool are only a short distance away.

About Me

First and foremost I am a mother. In addition to that, I have spent my life working with children and families in a variety of settings. Most recently, I ran a licensed school age childcare centre on the westside of Vancouver. We were a large centre, with a licensed capacity 80, serving approximately 100 families. Prior to my work in school age care, I worked with preschool chilren in a variety of settings. I have completed my Early Childhood Education as well as my School Age Childcare Certificate. I have a valid First Aid Certificate and CPR and have a cleared criminal record check under the Criminal Records Review Branch of the Provincial Government. About My Home

We live in a four level townhome with an entry level open concept play-room. There is a bathroom which is equiped with "potty seats" and stools to meet the hygeine needs of even our smallest guests. For those a little smaller, there is a separte diaper changing station. A small pantry and refrigerator ensure that snacks and water are always on hand without having to disrupt our routine. Our main living area is also utilized when the children are present. This area is a spacious, open-concept area. The entire area is viewable from any point on the main floor. Our Kitchen area, also on the main floor, opens to a garden deck. Our garden deck then opens to a spacious secured court yard. The courtyard consists of two levels. The main level is covered in paving stones and is excellent for bike riding and other activities that do not lend easily to grassed areas. The second level of the courtyard is grassed and contains several benches for relaxing. It's a great place for a picnic or a game of ball!

Although we do not have a playground on our property, we are only one block west of Guelph Park and Mount Pleasant Elementary School.
